Test and balance water chemistry (chlorine, stabilizer, pH, total alkalinity, and calcium)

Vacuum sides, steps and bottom w/portable vacuum.
Empty skimmer baskets, pump basket and pool cleaner bag.
Backwash filter once a month or as necessary.

Pool-care tips:
Empty skimmer baskets daily. The skimmer basket is the unit through which water leaves the pool to go to your pump and filter. This contains a basket which should be checked daily to remove any debris. This will allow the pump and filter to work correctly.
